Weekend colors

Saturday dinner @ La Bodega with bubu. We had mushroom tapas, escargots and paella. Yummy...

Japanese buffet lunch @ Saisaki with mum, sis and monsters... RM52++ per pax, we definitely can't eat that much!

Helped my sis to get big pack of popping eyes for kids' crafts @ montessori.

Got myself some small piece felt... the colors are lacking!

My attempt for the new 'the square tv' banner..

Key-chain.. made this felt key necklace yesterday nite, and that's my "model", bubu :P

New found place for breakfast @ KLCC. The foodcourt at 4th floor is now reopened with this new kopitiam hiding at the corner. I like!

Market Place

Got to know another new place, Market Place. Hearing the name, I never thought that it would be a place for fine dining. If my colleague didn't recommend this place, I'd never find it coz it's so secluded! It's not hard to find.. but it's just, secluded.

The food was good, the cod fish with wasabi mashed potato that I ordered was really fresh (top right)! The portion was really small but can't afford to order more as it'll dry up my wallet. I can't believe that I've not been fine dining for months!

Rush Hour madness

Me and my teamies are all into this rush hour game now, thanx to our stp (aka lady boss)! It's so addictive! Now everyone's thinking of getting one.. soon we'll see each of us having one on our working desk! If you see us looking busy, look again! We might not be working.. but playing with this rush hour madness! Never tried before? Try it here. Maybe its not as fun to play it online.. but trust me (us), it's really ADDICTIVE!

Btw, my teamie bought the deluxe edition online and paid USD60 with 2 add-ons, while I paid RM59.95. Maybe even cheaper elsewhere or during sale! The difference between the two? hmmm... his cars are metallic and mine candy-colored. muahaha.. we've been teasing him for paying so much online when he can get it here! Expensive still for a game, but its worth the price I guess...

Weekend updates

i. Bought a puff sleeved top from Tribeca. Supposed to wear with leggings or maybe huge waist belt but I'll skip that. It's long and comfy enough to just wear it on its own :P I don't follow trend anyway... boring me

ii. My dancing shoe! OK, it's not exactly for dancing.. but since I can't find my Hermes sandals, this is a good and cheap alternative! Mind the gold color...

iii. My new fabric scissors. Believe it or not, I've not been using a proper fabric scissors all the while! That explains my deteriorating eyesight perhaps?

Yesterday was also the day to visit the grave of my grandparents for the Ching Ming rituals. A day to get together with my relatives and to pig out! Hot hot hot...

Bunny?

Sis asked me to make something for the kids at montessori to celebrate my niece's (belated) birthday. I'm thinking of something small and easy to make as I need to make 70 pieces!! My first attempt... tiny-bunny pin

I think I need to think of something simpler....

Slacking

What have I been doing for the past 2 weeks?? I really have no idea... I've nothing to update at all! Damn, I can't just leave my site to rot! Yesterday, I spent a lot of time browsing through all the crafters' site and found lotsa ideas and step-by-step guide to some really creative creations! Suddenly, my mood to craft is back again. I went to get a pair of craft scissors (scallop cut), hoping that I can use it to cut felt. RM13, too cheap to cut fabric? I guess so... I can't really get a nice sharp edge when I use it on felt. Wasted! Anyway, I ended up trying this...

The one on the left was made by me... following the idea of the one on the right. Mine looks so flimsy!
