The flea market on Thursday nite was crowded. They've christmas caroling... stalls selling christmas crafts & cookies... king kong mascot (out of nowhere) and I managed to get some singlets! RM11+ for a piece.. cheap??


Went over to Bayou javanese cafe for dinner. Ordered Penang Touch, rice with chicken, veggies and omelette. Nice! It's a farewell to my dutch colleague that will be leaving back to Netherlands tonite.. after 6 months of working here. So, dinner on him! :D

The night was still young after the dinner. So we went to Finnegans for a drink and later on Breakers for another round...

Took a day off today, thinking of staying at home and do my crafts. Again, I ended up running around and didn't touch my crafts at all! Went over to KTM to get bus tickets for my friends in the morning... drove to Mid Valley only to find that all carpark full... took a turn to Topaz cafe to get my gingerbread and minced pie... went over to Bangsar Shopping Complex to do my christmas shopping... Got my presents for the monsters!! A snowman and a reindeer bag! Can't wait to see them unwrapping their gift next week!

Just about to call it a day, my friends called... asking me to go and scout for my cheap singlets. OK.. went down to KL... shop shop shop again... it's really tiring.. and christmas shopping can really cost me a bomb!! But anyway, it's only once a year.. and knowing that I can put a smile on other people's face is good enough! I had fun!

Mid Valley shopping mall's christmas decoration is really nice.. lotsa lotsa christmas trees, stalls and places decorated just for people to take pictures! Inside metrojaya is also very nice.. ornaments and sample christmas tree design everywhere! I wonder why KLCC till now still look like Hari Raya...



Today is also my malay ex-col's wedding. Both the bride and bridegroom are my ex-col. Got them a last minute gift from Mid Valley, wrapped up nicely with green Jusco wrapper and a gold ribbon. haha.. that's just so malay "feel". Meet up with 2ji to go to the majlis perkahwinan together and reached there just ½ before the ceremony ends! I was damn hungry and lucky enough there are still remaining food left.. hehehe

Started the day with sumptuous breakfast at La Bodega, Bangsar. Super heavy english breakfast with scrambled egg with toast, turkey ham, sauteed mushrooms, fresh orange and long black *burp*



What's next? Lawatan sambil belajar ke muzium negara for the ant exhibition! hahaha.. feel like I'm back in primary school but knowing that fish loves all about ants, no harm going again! We can conclude that it was a lousy exhibition coz we expect to see some real (and alive) ants and not pictures or fake/dead ants. Quite a dissappointment though the visit back to the museum was kinda fun.



After museum, fish drove us to look for crafty stuff. Wanted to go chinatown initially, but looking at the heavy traffic, we turned to PJ old town instead. Found another place for crafty stuff! Thanx to bubu for telling me about the place. I bought the black string and also some felt. They came over to my place for their very first (and maybe last) craft lesson! Funny to see them all stressed out stitching their first plushy. Fish with his fishbone.. and adori with her gingerbread man with a beak, rolling eyes and burst tummy! haha, it's more like a voodoo doll! On and off we'll hear "oh shit! argh.. oh no.. aiyer.." mistakes happen but their first plushy is considered very good. Too bad I didn't take any pic of 'em...

Me & Squirrel finally got the christmas tree up! We used a total of 500 lights (5 boxes) for the 7-ft high tree. Purple, silver, white and glass-like ornaments and ribbons filling up the tree. All light up.. not too bad.

We'll sure hear lotsa feedbacks from colleagues tomorrow... good or bad.. we'll see...

I get to decorate the christmas tree again this year!! woohoo!!! I'm just sooooo excited! We'll be getting a new tree, new ornaments, everything new this year! hmmm.. ok, not for my home, but for the office. Anyway, I can't have a tree at home coz I know if I were to get one.. the monsters will "destroy" it in a way..

Still remember few years back, got an email from my boss saying that he knows I've always wished to have a chance to decorate a real-sized christmas tree and asked if I wanna do it for the company coz the old tree looked dead! My reaction? "YES!!! I WANT!!!" My dream came true... so happy...



Went over to Ikea & Ikano yesterday to shop for ornaments and ribbons. I'm thinking to have silver, white and purple theme. Nice?? The one I decorated few years back was red and gold. Nice and bright.. but thought of having a change and not having the same design as the other tree. I also got some hanging deco for my team! Now it's all hanged up the ceiling! Nice nice nice... later during lunch will continue with my ornaments shopping! I've to make sure I don't overspend.. else I can't claim it back from the company!

ooohh.. I'm sooooo excited to get the tree up! Will take pic when I'm done! Till then... woohoo!! *jumping up and down*

My site is finally up again! I really hope that it'll not screw up after few days (again) *fingers crossed* So, what has been happening around me lately? Lemme see where to start...

Yesterday was my mum's birthday! Couldn't find her a nice present.. so just brought them to Marmalade at Mt. Kiara. I just love that place.. nice and quiet. There's also a corner for kids where we can just dump the monsters there to run around. They loved it too!

Back to my Singapore trip.. I went to Singapore last Thursday to attend my friend Joanne's wedding. It was a simple wedding. Friday morning, we gathered at the Registry of Marriages (ROM) to witness the ceremony. Wedding vows... exchanging ring... kiss the bride... done! Lunch time.. hehe.. wait, more like brunch coz it was only 11am. Proceeded to Legend Fort Canning for lunch and after the lunch, we had few hours to shop around before the dinner. Well, I packed all my stuff out from morning till dinner coz I know it'll be too rush to go back and change. So, we went over to a friend's place to freshen up and get ready for dinner.

Dinner at Raffles Hotel's Royal China Restaurant. Simple dinner, 4 tables, no shouting and yelling "yum seng" and no drunkards after that. Got Joanne a crystal from Swarovski and guess what? She got each of us back a crystal from Swarovski too! Luckily it wasn't the same design... I almost got the wedding bell for her! phew... there goes my Friday.


Saturday, moved over to kura-kura's place for my last night in Singapore. Whole day of shopping and entertaining kura-kura! Well, she can only see the puteri beruk once a blue moon! So, she should be glad and happy! hahaha.. we went to Suntec City, Orchard Road, etc etc.. and I got my dress from Esprit! Woohoo! At night, I meet up with Mah and had dinner at Pasta Cafe in Takashimaya. I had assorted seafood linguine with white wine *yum yum* After dinner, went back to kura-kura's place and she mixed some really nice cocktails for me. Too bad, I couldn't finish it all.. haven't been drinking much lately and so my level of alcohol intake has decreased. I got the "kick" after a glass of Screwdriver and Sheriden and so I only managed to taste a bit of Passion and the Plum wine. Wasted! Don't wanna drink too much coz I'm afraid I'll miss the bus tomorrow!

Sunday, had breakfast at Kaya Toast and bye-bye.. took the 12pm bus back to KL. Stucked in highway and reached KL around 6pm+. Tiring...

I finally tried telawi street bistro, the nice and cozy looking restaurant located at the corner of Telawi street, Bangsar.


Food is good. I tried the fish.. err.. don't remember what is it called, just know that it's some deep sea fish with some green beans! yummy.. after dinner, hopped over to Bar Flam to meet up with my friends for a booze. Sigh, always wanna skip drinking in the weekdays.. but then whenever my friends called, there I go...

People have been so into dooodolls lately that I've also tried to come out with my own creation! Here...



He's black and he got hit for being too ugly. Haven't got a name yet.. any suggestion? ok, it's only my first attempt and I know it's a bit "cacat" but then I'll try to make more soon! The stuffing part is tedious coz the size is smaller than my palm!

Well, I'm finally done with my own tv singlet. The first creation, pink tv singlet is with q-line.



Lastly.. errr.. fishbone, inspired by err... fishbrain??



hmmm... that's all for the week. Since I've not been blogging for two weeks, I need some time to warm up again to write more...
