Ya, again! hahaha.. joined the gals to celebrate chermaine's (belated) birthday there. We almost had the whole paddington to us coz not many customers yesterday :D As usual, we took silly (very silly) pictures, trying to pose like chermaine's all time favorite pose, the "seductive" yet "cheeky" (aka muka 10sen) look but they turn out... damn OUT! The waiters and waitresses all looking at this silly bunch. Anyway, like we care?! and NOPE, not gonna post those pics here! ermm.. or maybe a small preview?? :P

We had a really good time there.. enjoying the food.. chat n chat n chat.. chermaine also suggested to have hen's nite before her wedding. hmmm.. the evil in me is planning something naughty! Not sure if she still wants me to organize for her :P If she does, she has to do everything that I plan *ngiak* chermaine, still up for it???

After dinner I went over to bar flam to meet up with 2ji and Mr.?. I was there early! Got myself a ladies' drink, vodka lime while waiting for them to come. Sitting there alone was really awkward.. luckily not for too long... or else people will think that I'm waiting to be picked up!

Btw, I wore my new pumps yesterday.. and they're really killing my feet!! Damn.. first time wearing pumps (ya, I'm damn outdated) and I wonder how chermaine can wear that all the time!! chi sin ger... I walked like orang cacat by end of the nite! Luckily I've spare shoes in my car! Changed before going to bar flam :P

I love Paddington house of pancakes! Tried the pancakes with squirrel the last time and I just fell in love with this place! Went again with aiping today and we had the dollar pancakes and pannekoek. Lovely... gonna go more often to try out all in the menu :P

Did some "spring-cleaning" today to move (almost) everything from the old rattan shelf to my new drawer. I've way too much rubbish to hide. The drawer is not enough. I need to get extra storage boxes to store those unwanted-but-dun-feel-like-disposing stuff!



Oh, btw, forgot to show off my cute 'lil "cookies" box from omie! Inside is all stuffed with beads! Lovely... the box is just so lovely! :D

Friday

Took the 6:45pm aeroline coach right after work on Friday nite, reached Singapore around midnite and hopped in to a cab to check in at Hangout Hotel. There goes my Friday nite.



Saturday

Got up early in the morning for breakfast before taking the MRT to Orchard Road for my shopping spree. The Singapore sale is on! People are goin goo-goo-ga-ga over the sale but somehow, I just couldn't find anything nice and worth spending! Meet up with Mah for lunch at Paragon before dragging Charles to be my shopping companion cum guide for the rest of the day. Seeing the crowd, I just got tired after a while...

Had a quick dinner at Bugis and ordered Katong laksa. Tasted quite nice but not up to Charles expectation. Well, he's a local, should know better I guess.. :) After dinner, we went over to Clarke Quay to meet up with my friends before going over to Boat Quay for another round of dinner :s Eating there was expensive and the food were just so-so!



Sunday

Packed in the morning to check out and moved to kura-kura's place at Pasir Ris. The journey was long as she's staying at the other side of the world :P After dropping off my luggage, we went to Marina Square for lunch and also shopping. Had herbal roast duck and roast pork at Dian Xiao Er restaurant. VERY NICE meal! Highly recommended place but make sure u go early or after peak hour, or else it'll be a long Q! After dinner, we meet up with Charles again for picture session... ya, holding the dream board for another dream :P :P We were posing stupidly at the Esplanade while the group of musicians performing nearby in conjunction with the art festival. Nice performance!



Enough of picture taking, we headed over to Geylang for our dinner.. frog claypot porridge! Yummy... hehehe.. the nite ended young as I need to go back to kura-kura's place for cocktail session :P and not to forget, my pisang ambon!! This time the kura-kura mixed 6 types of cocktails.. they all taste good ;) *two thumbs up*



Monday

Last day in Singapore. Got up early as kura-kura needs to go to work. So I was kicked out of the house by 8:30am and went over to Joanne's place to check out baby Arron! He's cute and chubby! haha.. and their new home is really nice and exclusive!



Hangout there for a while before going back down to Orchard road to meet omie. Had our lunch there and also some last minute shopping before catching the bus back to KL at 3:30pm...


I had the one on the left, fried prawn mee.. yummy :D

I'm a year wiser (aka older) today! Happy birthday... to me! :P Had a pre-bday dinner yesterday at Pah Loh Chiu Chow Restaurant in Starhill. Since I'm a teochew, so just wanna try out that teochew restaurant! Haha.. the food was just so-so. I had the dried scallop with chicken teochew porridge and it's more like rice, just-pour-water-and-mix-it kinda porridge.. quite a disappointment. After the dinner, they gave us a fortune cookie. I got this... "One day you will become rich and famous". Not bad...


Hopped over to Qba for the ladies nite. First time there.. kinda like the place! Joined the cuban salsa dance and had a great time, especially when dancing with the "teacher" there! He's good... but we've to be fast with our steps or else we'll go kelam-kabut :P Later the night they've live band and you'll see lotsa advanced dancers taking over the dance floor, salsa-ing... nice nice nice.... hope to be like them one day! haha..

Today, I received lotsa greetings and gifts from my friends and colleagues. It's always nice to unwrap presents and having people remembering your birthday! Thanx guys! *hugs* I'm all happy... ;)

3 months had passed. Yesterday was a busy day for my mum, preparing all the stuff for prayers today at Nilai Memorial Park. Today is an auspicious day for "house warming" for my dad.

After spending the morning praying, late noon was spent at Batu Caves (again). Weather was nice (before the heavy thunderstorm). Going up the steps was really really tiring. My legs are shaking half way through... maybe I wasn't fit enough today, or maybe because they're too many monkeys monkey-ing around. Bad experience at Club Med perhaps?? I still have to force my way up... The caves look much more beautiful and mystical under gloomy weather. It wasn't raining outside.. but somehow inside the caves were wet and you can see "raindrops" falling...

After much struggles with the sewing machine, it is finally working now. Having exchanged once, was praying hard that it would work or else we'll need a refund. To get myself started, I bought these cloths from chinatown today.. they only cost RM3 per meter! Cheap start ;)

Today's my dad's birthday.. Happy Birthday Tan Papa! I know I missed his birthday the last year and this year I don't get to celebrate with him anymore.... if he's still around, my nephew would be his best birthday gift this year :)
