So, we had our cost center lunch yesterday @ Nippon Tei, which was initially planned to have buffet @ Shangri-la. I was so looking forward to having buffet at Shangri-la last saturday, but because some of the teamies couldn't make it, we've to change venue and date :(



There wasn't much varieties in the menu and so I ordered the sashimi set served in a huge rattan tray. The first set in the menu :P RM45.. still within the budget! haha..

Best part of the lunch was the after-meal "entertainment" by our stp (si-thau-poh) on our way back to work. A very very embarassing moment for her when she went to a stranger and played with her hair! She thought she was one of our teamies, Joane! I was right behind her, feeling awkward when she walks up to the gal and played with her hair, but too late to stop her. Maybe that's the sukiyaki effect? Coz she had sukiyaki set :P The gal turned with an angry face and stp apologized umpteen times "OH! soli, soli, soli........" We burst out laughing... even after we reached the office...

Is it too much to tell my friends that I don't like uninvited guest? Well, not to say uninvited guest, but I don't expect my friends to just turn up in front of my house without any notice. I'd appreciate that you at least give me some time to "prepare" myself to welcome you. Well, u know.. when u're at home, you'll be all comfortable.. like going braless, wearing all the baju koyak, hairband, sleepy face, etc etc and I'll be all freaked out if out of a sudden my friend calls me to tell me that he/she is on his/her way to my place and will be reaching in say 5 minutes?? I personally don't like it.. I'm vain.. I know.....

Look! Squirrel bought me Arnott's teevee snacks for the tv me! All the way from Australia... so sweet.... *muaks*

I'm porky overloaded this week. Had porky lunch with omie today at Ying Ker Hakka Restaurant @ The Curve. Ordered sweet 'n sour pork ribs noodle and pig's gut soup. The restaurant has nice ambience but the food is just so-so..

After lunch, we browsed Borders bookstore and I bought another book, Monkey love. The title caught my attention :P Hope it's a nice read! I also bought some really nice papers from Papier. I just love this crafty shop! Sooooo many nice papers, ribbons, charms, stickers and everything else.. but the stuff are way too expensive! How nice if I can just spend on everything there without having to look at the price!!

Btw, omie, hope you've recovered from your bad headache! It's a headache to go shopping with me eh?? :P

So, this is my nice dinner @ the Checkers. Yes, the porky place for the porky me. I just love this place as the food is good and the owner is nice and friendly! You'll feel warm and homely dining at this little cozy restaurant. With the rainy weather, it's just perfect to sit outside (not under the rain of course) enjoying my porky!

3 of us, ordered a starter, 2 porky main course and a pasta. *burp* so full that I felt like I had the whole pig! No doubt it was a satisfying meal ;)

I've not been blogging for the entire week coz the week passed without any special happenings apart from work, work and more work! Oh ya, one thing to cheer about.. we had an employee event on Wednesday and the good news was that our products' release 370 has been accepted! As a token of appreciation for our hardwork.. we'll get ½ mth bonus end of this month!! YIPPEE!!! For years that I've been working, I never came across the word BONUS! How sad.. this time, first time of my life I get BONUS!! Though not even a month... but better than nothing! hahaha.. *jumping up and down*

Btw, I'm now blogging in office.. coz we need to work half day today! Damn... I need a nice dinner tonite!

Chermaine, I had a great time @ your place yesterday nite. Though I acted like I was having pms-attack but.. but.. but.. I was just pulling your leg :P We had a good laugh choosing songs for your BIG day! I bet you'll see us giggling on that nite!

I had Mc Chicken for the very first time today! So, no more teasing ya! I had my Mc Chicken! :P Unwrapping the burger... putting ketchup... and the first bite was.... burger taste lor!

As I was chatting senselessly with omie today, we came upon the word kukujiau. omie, pretending to be stupid asked what is that. To entertain his stupidity, I just say that it's a new car made in Japan that will be launched soon, as sucessor of Yamaha. The next thing he did? The excited omie created a wiki entry about kukujiau! Here's the entry... "thanx" omie for creating this... notice the :- at the back? Resembles something..?

Ever known guys with pms-attack that's more frequent than gals? I know one... he can have pms-attack 3 times more frequent than gals! No joke. I wonder why...

PMS-attack symptoms:
-> sudden change of decisions
-> frequent use of '.' (e.g. No. Not going. Thank you.)
-> blunt replies
-> black face with geisha lips

He seriously needs to stock up on sanitary pads. meili, u also cannot beat him!
