Woke up early in the morning on Saturday to drive down to Melaka to attend Ivan's wedding. Luckily, I'm not the one driving :P Reached Melaka @ 8am, just on time to meet the groom @ a petrol station before going to pick the bride. This time is a church wedding but they still follow a bit of the chinese tradition to pick the bride and also the tea ceremony. It's a simple wedding, but kinda not-too-organized. Lotsa time wasted on waiting......

The wedding buffet dinner was supposed to be held at the rooftop of Alby Hotel. They arranged in sucha way that friends will be at rooftop and relatives will be downstairs. Two sections. Everything's well prepared... till we heard the thunderstorm! Sad to say but they've to evacuate us to downstairs before the rain starts pouring :( That's where all went kelam-kabut. The hotel should have backup plan to cater to the rainy weather lately! They've to move all the tables, chairs and food downstairs to be together with the relatives section. Small place. All have to cramp together and the waiters and waitresses became unorganized too.



Since it's a buffet dinner, it ended early. We went for 2nd round... satay celup! I'd say that I don't like the idea of satay celup coz it's very unhygenic! The same pot of satay sauce is being recycled umpteen times! You never know who dip in the sauce before you... still, lotsa lotsa people go for it!

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to all muslim out there! It's always nice to have holidays in between the week :) Today, my elder sis brought us for brunch @ the Prince Hotel. We ordered the brunch set for 2, just enough for all of us since we're all small eater ;)



The food was good and the monsters enjoyed it very much!



At nite, chermaine had potluck @ her place and so I bought wrapped chicken to bring to her place. Eat again... we even had cheese cakes for dessert! The Coffee Bean party pack was good...



Sinful day... ate so much...

I'm back from Maldives with a nice tan! The beach is just sooooo nice! Clear blue water... clear blue sky... and super HOT!!! I can get myself burnt in just one day! There are not much activities there in Kani as compared to Cherating, but lazing by the beach was good enough! The chalet was nice although there are some insects hanging around all the time. Food was ok. GOs were friendly.. Excursions are not necessary unless you've too much to spend :P I don't even have to take a boat out the island to see baby sharks, rays, sotong, etc... you can see all of 'em here! Just have to keep myself calm when they swim by...

This guy.. I wonder if he's paid to go shouting around during yum-seng session! I saw him toasting @ each table! His face appearing in each of the yum-seng pictures! More like his wedding than ck's... u know, they say u can hire those ppl to cry during funeral.. so maybe wedding also can do the same? Hire ppl to shout and toast for you?? CK, you hired him??

3 friends got married last weekend. I missed my cousin bro's registration on Saturday due to my hectic schedule. I'm so exhausted running around. I also had a bad headache due to the bad weather :(

This morning Mr Chee bought a mooncake and shared with the colleagues. Suddenly, the boss came in and saw, "wah, nice cake, who buy?" All the staff said "CHEE BUY BOSS"

To add on to yesterday's bad day, I had food poisoning again after having the paos that my team bought for tea break! Should I say lucky that I didn't eat it during tea break but brought it back home only consume?? I puked and purged few times that I've to just rest on the toilet bowl! No one's at home coz mum and sis drove the monsters for music class. When they got home, I was just lying in the toilet. The monsters discovered me in the toilet.. and asked why am I lying there. hehe...

I'm not sure if it's bcoz of the spicy seafood or chicken pao as I consumed bits of each. But that's the only thing I had at nite.. so I guess they're to be blamed??

Drove to the petrol station this morning only to find that my wallet is not in my bag. Called my mum to find for me in my room while I turn back to my home. Reached home and realized that my wallet is all the while in my bag, just in different compartment! Sigh.. so I drove back to the petrol station, feeling damn careless. Then, usually when you pump petrol, you'll just lock it and let the petrol flow till it stops by itself. I didn't realize that the stupid pump stopped half way and so I waited and waited only to find that it has stopped while it's still locked. Wasted another few minutes there! Fine.. what's next? Reached office and found that I forgot to bring my tag! DAMN!!! Have to get temporary pass... and my drawer key is attached to my tag, so I can't open my drawer today too. I've to put my bag outside... and I've no cardigan to wear. I'm gonna be freezed to ice by the end of the day! aaarrrggghhh!!!

Finally, yesterday was Chermaine's big day. I've to wake up damn early in the morning to drive to Rawang as my sis will be her make-up artist for the day. Glad to reach there before 7am so that my sis could start work asap! haha.. We, the ji-muis have to be all dressed up in white top with jeans to go with the faux white pearl necklace that chermaine made specially for us :)

The bridegroom reached around 9am++, followed by some silly games, kissing the bride, tea ceremony and all... By late noon, we were all tired and ready to go home for some rest before the dinner.

Dinner was held @ The Ming Room in BSC. Food was great and of course, the bride looked stunning :P So chermaine, ready for your honeymoon? ;)
