The internet was unstable or I should say down almost the entire day today. Can't really work.. thinking of how to utilise our cost center money allocated to each of us every month, me and my teamies decided to go down to Starbucks to grab a cup of coffee. In a day, I managed to get the remaining 16 stickers, just enough to add on to my 2-stickers-so-far collection to exchange for the Starbucks planner! 18 stickers in total! wooohoo!!
![]() While preparing to work this morning, a radio station was having a tv theme song contest. They played Teletubbies and without listening much to the content rules and prize, I tried calling the station. Surprisingly, my call got through! Thinking if I need a password or if I need to answer any other questions before telling them the answer, the DJ picked my call. I was still a bit blur if the contest is open to people calling in or sms! haha.. but too late
This is where our angpow money gone to this year. Food catering in the office.. we've turkey, lamb, beef, chicken and everything else... but they're obviously not enough to cater to the number of people here. This is like 20% (the most) of our angpow money! Sigh... I want my angpow money rather than this lunch! It's kinda upset to know that most restaurants don't serve turkey this Christmas due to that halal issue. What's the big fuss when turkey and christmas are not meant for muslims? Luckily, I still get to eat stuffed roast turkey cranberry sauce, english roast pork with apple sauce, roasted garlic portobello mushrooms and everything else yummy, spending the christmas eve at aunty Jude's place! Nice and warm dinner together with another round of gift exchange...![]() I got 3 gifts from the gift exchange this year! A Playboy pillow, Lindt chocolate and Plush-O-Rama! Plush-O-Rama!!! It's in my wishlist! Thanx santa for fulfilling my wishlist! ![]() Yesterday was AK's birthday. For the very first time, he agreed to go telawi to meet me and cheng instead of meeting us somewhere in KL city center! We're surprised :P
Dinner at The Social was good... escargots were yummy!! ![]() The night was still young after dinner, so we went to Coffee Bean for a piece of cake and tea for AK. We saw this really cute cake with a tiny lil mushroom on top and we immediately ordered that. Big disapointment. It doesn't taste nice at all! The mushroom, which should be made of plastic, was half way melted inside the cake.. it looks scary to have such easily melt thingy in your food. I tried sticking it to the hot teapot and to our surprise, the mushroom can easily stick to the pot! ...and continue melting! hahaha.. it looks cute sticking like a parasite... ![]() Btw, AK bought a very nice Swatch for cheng as her belated bday gift! cheng, happy?? ..and AK, like the tee from us? :P I had a good time with my old schoolmates yesterday, enjoying our pre-christmas party @ Shuek Ni's place. Dinner should start at 7pm but with all her church friends around, we've to be all prepared for some "yeh-sou" before we can eat! Caroling... story telling... and everything else abt Jesus Christ and Christmas... I'm glad when everything's over and we get to have the whole place to ourselves (as in only old schoolmates, minus all the church ppl). That's when we had our gift exchange, silly picture taking... and of course, the Coffee Bean party pack filled with christmas log, gingerbread and cheesecakes! Gift exchange was fun and we had a good laugh with all our silly act trying to pick the best gift! chermaine, you're so unlucky to get mine.. wahahaha.. but they're cute and useful ok!? And I got mine from Joan! Love it... it's a wall puzzle and it's the most nicely wrapped gift!
![]() Btw, I'm finally done with my christmas goodies too... ![]() Out of 300+ people, I guess only 15% turned up in costume. I'm not one of them but I guess I did shocked the crowd again with my hairdo this year. I named it typhoon durian as I look like one of those survivors of typhoon, having only my hair all blown to the side! :P
![]() We've cleaner, jungle woman, ninja, emperor, vampire, paris hilton, cowboy, cleopatra, devil, matrix, wong fei hung, phua chu kang, etc.... My stp was really sporting to come as a cleaner! None of us would expect her to dress up like a man.. and act like one too! Of all, I'd say that love jungle woman and ninja the most! They're the cutest!! But too bad, I don't know how they choose the best costume as both king + queen were just plain.. nothing-to-shout-about costume. Queen was cleopatra and king was err.. king (emperor). OK, maybe the emperor was still acceptable.. but the queen.. awww.. I'm so dissappointed. ![]() After the dinner ended, we stayed for more photo shooting sessions.. and identity switching session... funny... Back Next |
